Every creature is a part of nature and deserves to live happily in its natural habitat. Environmental competence is an integral part of the training of a modern specialist. The ecological activities help the students to develop factual knowledge about the natural environment, foster more positive perceptions about the value of the natural world, develop eco-friendly habits, engage students in environmental recreation projects and develop their psychological and spiritual relationship with nature.
Eco-education at Vyzhnytsia Applied College of Arts and Design is aimed at teaching the students about the natural world and, particularly, about the ways, in which ecosystems work and how to change environmental behavior, such as getting people to recycle or how to build eco-friendly dwellings.
The system of environmental education at the college has a comprehensive, interdisciplinary and integrated character, with differentiation, depending on the students’ professional orientation. It is based on the education of needs and skills of environmentally sound behavior, healthy lifestyle, the desire to be active in environmental protection; development of intellectual and emotional spheres of the students, on the basis of the analysis of ecological situations, emotional experience, concerning the nature.
Spring is rich in various international and global environmental dates and events, related to the protection and preservation of the environment.
During the second semester, the college hosted different activities, dedicated to environmental holidays and events in Ukraine and in the world. The college students (Natural Sciences teacher Slobidchuk M. S.) participated at different environmental actions and challenges.

Summing up the studying of the topic “Environment Protection” at the English language lessons, the 1st year students of Environment Design, Graphic Design and Clothes Design Departments (English teacher Gulei O. G.) made eco-posters, in which they demonstrated the unity of animate and inanimate nature, the interaction of a man, society and environment. In their works the students appealed to preserve and enhance the world’s natural resources.
Our nature gives us everything we need, and, in return, needs care, a part of our loving heart, a heart, full of respect and gratitude!

Екологічна компетентність є невід’ємною частиною підготовки сучасного спеціаліста. Сучасна система екологічної освіти у Вижницькому коледжі має неперервний, комплексний, міждисциплінарний та інтегрований характер, з диференціацією залежно від професійної орієнтації. В її основі є виховання потреб і навичок екологічно доцільної поведінки, здорового способу життя, потягу до активної діяльності з охорони навколишнього середовища; розвиток інтелектуальної та емоційної сфер студентів на основі аналізу екологічних ситуацій, емоційного переживання стосовно природи.
Весна багата на різноманітні міжнародні, всесвітні екологічні дати та події пов’язані з охороною та збереженням довкілля.
В коледжі протягом другого семестру відбувалися різноманітні заходи присвячені екологічним святам та подіям в Україні й світі. Студенти коледжу під керівництвом М. С. Слобідчук неодноразово долучаються до природоохоронних акцій та челенджів.
Завершальним заходом на екологічну тематику в циклі екологічних подій був флешмоб
«БУДЬ ЕКОЛОГІЧНО СВІДОМИМ!»
Підсумовуючи вивчення теми на заняттях з іноземної мови «Захист довкілля» студенти 1 курсу ДС, ГД, ДО (викладач Гулей О. Г.) виготовили еко-постери, у яких показали єдність живої та неживої природи, взаємодію людини, суспільства і навколишнього середовища та закликали берегти та примножувати природні багатства.
Наша природа дарує все, що нам необхідне, а у відповідь потребує турботу, частинку нашого люблячого серця, серця, сповненого поваги та вдячності!
